Blue Smokey Eye Look
Hi there beauties! Today I am actually doing a full face makeup look. This is my first time doing one on my blog and most of this type of look that I have seen have been on Youtube. Which, by the way, I am debating on starting my own channel. Give me your thoughts on that in the comments blow! Or you can go to my Contact Me page and get a hold of me there!

So here we go! This is my go to face routine. I have already washed and moisturized my face using my Paula's Choice products. And here is my beautiful, clean bare face!

I primed my face using 2 different primers. I started with my Artistry Exact Fit Beauty Balm Perfecting Primer. It smooths out my pores and skin tone and gives a subtle glow to the skin. And then I followed with my Make Up For Ever Step 1 Mattifying Primer. I only put this in my areas that get oily and it helps to keep me matte throughout the day. I have a few spots that get a little dry and this stuff is so good at mattifying that it will make those spots dryer if applied there. And this is what my primed face looks like.
And then, of course, my furbaby Wally has to come in a make his photo bomb appearance! It wouldn't be a true blog for me if one of my furbabies wasn't in a photo!

And here is my very concentrated while applying my color corrector face.

And then the finished color correcting product.
Now I will apply my all time favorite foundation! The Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet foundation in shade 15, which is the lightest shade they have. Shout out to all my pale princesses out there!
I like to dot it on my face one section at a time and then stipple it on using a very dense brush like this ELF one. I feel like I get the most coverage this way.
And like magic, I am flawless! It is the perfect shade for me, it is high coverage without being cakey and uncomfortable. I love this stuff!
And now I use the Tarte Shape Tape concealer in shade fair to conceal under my eyes. This stuff is the best at concealing my dark under eyes without creasing.
And, for some reason, I didn't show my contouring, highlighting or blush. Not sure what happened there so we will just move right along...

I did my brows using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in the shade Auburn. They might look kind of crazy but they look better when my whole face is done!

Then I went in with the L'Oreal Infallible eye shadow in the shade Timeless Blue Spark all over the lid.
I then placed some of the shade Sytry from the Shade and Light palette in the outer V to darken it up.
I then used my Maybelline Eyestudio gel liner and lined my top and bottom water line and smudged it out a bit.
Then I used my holy grail mascara: the Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes. That made my eyes go from a little bit of a blue pop to hello bright blue eyes!
And that completes this look! If you enjoyed this blog please do me a favor and subscribe to e-mail notifications for when I release new blogs! Younique Moodstruck Mascara Review
Today we have a review on the Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara! Now let me first say, I am not a gimmick type of person. If I hear that a product is an amazing item then I will try it and if I like it I will tell people! If I don't like it then I will most likely just not talk about it. But different products work differently for people. If it doesn't work for me it doesn't mean that it won't work for you. I would also like to say that I am not being paid to give this blog. These are my honest opinions about this item.
Okay, now to the review! I am really in love with this mascara. In my opinion is give you the length and volume as if you are wearing falsies but without the weight and dealing with the glue. Personally, I am incapable of applying falsies to myself. It's mainly because I have terrible vision so I wear glasses and without them I have to be an inch away from the mirror to see my eyes! This was a game changer for me!They just reformulated it in January 2017 and I love the new formula! The new packaging also has a "window" on each tube so you can see when you are running out of product. That's just a fancy little feature that I like. They also have tutorial videos if you need help with your application technique here.
The general process is you take the Transplanting Gel and apply it like you would a normal mascara. Then you take the wand for the 3D fibers and smooth that from root to tip of your lashes. It applies the fibers to the lashes to give you length and volume. Then you reapply the Transplanting Gel to lock in the fibers. At this point if you are happy with the length and volume you can stop here but you can also repeat the steps until you are satisfied with the results. After it dries I like to take a small fluffy brush and lightly run it across the lashes to remove any loose fibers so they don't fall off on to my face throughout the day.
This is my first time using the mascara. My right eye is without mascara and my left eye is with one coat of the mascara and fibers!
This is a before and after as well. Th left is my lashes before application and the right is after application.
This I feel is a very good representation of the mascara's abilities. This is my mom who has virtually no lashes without mascara, as you can see on the left. The right is a full face of makeup that I did on her with the Younique mascara and it is like a night and day difference. I don't think the pictures really do it justice.
You can purchase this mascara for $29 + tax and shipping, shipping is free with $100 or more order. You can order it through my very close friend Stacey Davidson here.

My Top 5 Makeup Products
If I had to throw away all of my makeup except for 5 items of my choosing, these are the items that I would keep:
My first item would be the Artistry Exact Fit Beauty Balm Perfecting Primer. I love this stuff! On days that I don't want to wear foundation I will apply this by itself. It smooths out my pores, evens out my skin tone and gives a glow to the skin. Unfortunately it is not sold at just any makeup store. It is made by a company called Amway, but you can purchase it from my mother who is an Amway distributor at her site here.

My next item would be the Morphe 35O palette. These shades are buttery soft and just the right amount of pigment. Very blend able and easy to work with. I just love
the shades in this palette, you can do so many looks with them.

My third item would be the Maybelline New York Eystudio gel eyeliner. I have been using this for about 2 years now and I love it. It is super black and easy to work with. I line my water line with it and use a flat brush to smudge it and smoke it out.

My fourth item is the Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes mascara. This stuff is a miracle worker. It makes you look like you are wearing falsies with none of the weight or hassle of gluing things to your lashes. This is another product not available at makeup stores. You can, however, purchase it from my friend Stacey Gaither who is a Younique distributor at her site here.

And my last item is the Palladio rice paper blotting sheets. These things soak up oil and apply the perfect amount of translucent powder to make your makeup look matte again. These can be purchased at Sally's Beauty Supply.
